Same-sex weddings - Love is Love
Married by Andy and Same-Sex Wedding Ceremonies Sydney
Wooohooo!!! What can I say… Thank you to all the people who have fought for marriage equality and the right for every person to marry the one they love. For the last few years I have been quite active campaigning for marriage equality. I am soooo excited to now finally be able to marry my own Prince Charming in October.
"We are here to celebrate the best of what it means to be human! Today we celebrate LOVE.” Andy (Married by Andy)
I have had the pleasure of officiating many same-sex ceremonies already and it has been so special. One couple in particular stands out, as they had been together for more than 35 years and I had the pleasure to finally announce them legally to be "Husbands for Life”.
"You have always been by my side during the most important moments of our lives and today with our dear friends and family, we begin yet another adventure." Dayne, January 2018
I am excited that all Australians can now finally get married and the legal wording has changed from “between a man and a woman" to “the union of two people”. It’s only those few words that make such a huge difference.
I'm excited for the future ahead and to be able to legally marry many amazing couples, irrespective of their sex.
My passion is to make your love shine, bring your relationship to life and make your big day just about you, your adventures, and your achievements and goals together.
You can now fill in the new NOIM Form (Nomination of Intended Marriage) and all of the same rules apply to the NOIM Form & the ability to get married, it will depend on you both fulfilling the relevant elements.

(A mandatory part of your ceremony)
'As a registered Marriage Celebrant, I, Andreas Rohner (Married by Andy) am duly authorised by law to solemnise marriages according to law.
Before you are joined in marriage in my presence and in the presence of these witnesses, I am to remind you of the solemn and binding nature of the relationship into which you are now about to enter.
Marriage, according to law in Australia, is the union of two people to the exclusion of all others, voluntarily entered into for life.'
I always like to add the below and am still beaming with joy writing this here today.
"WOW!!! It’s done! What a day to remember on so many levels and for so many reasons - Love! - Love is here to stay for ... (couples name), for your beautiful family and friends and all of Australia finally equal.
The legal wording I just spoke, has changed and special days like this finally belong to two people who love each other – irrespective of religion, race, gender or sexuality.
Love is Love and the LAW OF THE LAND - Australia has spoken - YES!"
